Reflections on IFLA 2018, Singapore
TCL Director Damian Schultz recently attended the 2018 International Federation of Landscape Architects conference in Singapore, which focused on the themes of Biophilia, Smart Cities and Resilience. The conference also included a day of technical tours to locations within Singapore. Highlights of the trip included visits to the Oasia and Park Royal Hotel by Woha Architects, Solaris by Ken Yeang, and The Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay by Grant Associates and Wilkinson Eyre Architects. The visit concluded with the 2018 IFLA AAPME (Asia, Asia Pacific, and Middle East Region) Awards where TCL was fortunate enough to receive an Outstanding Award for Adelaide Botanic Gardens Wetland and an Honorary Mention for the Point Nepean Master Plan submitted with Parks Victoria.
Reflections on IFLA 2018, Singapore
TCL acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people — the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We respect their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
