TCL is a research-driven design practice. We value discourse, collaboration and innovation and regularly host talks and workshops at our studios. TCL also has a dedicated research arm named Tickle, established to speculate on the future of landscape architecture and emerging practice. Tickle aims to challenge, generate, capture, disseminate and archive ideas through a wide range of platforms, including publications, talks, exhibitions and interviews.

Field Conversations

Field Conversations – evenings that identify progressive avenues of inquiry,  discover new territory for design, and inspire innovative forms of practice.

The Expanding Field

The Expanding Field Festival surveyed the edges of our profession with the aim of identifying progressive avenues of inquiry, discovering new territory for design and inspiring innovative forms of practice.

TCL acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people — the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We respect their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
