Parliament Members’ Annexe wins Gold Melbourne Design Award
The new Members' Annex at Victoria's Parliament House has won a Gold Melbourne Design Award. The Melbourne Design Awards are organised by DrivenxDesign, a “global community of designers, thinkers, strategists and design lovers.” They organise design award programs in Hong Kong, Berlin, London, Sydney and Melbourne. The Members' Annex at Victoria's Parliament House was designed by Peter Elliott Architecture and Urban Design and TCL for the Department of Parliamentary Services. Planting designers Paul Thompson and Annette Warner collaborated closely with TCL on the project. The Melbourne Design Awards presentation will be on 13 August 2019 at Higher Ground, 650 Little Bourke St. Read more about the project here. See all 2019 Melbourne Design Award recipients here.
