"Landscape architecture, to me, is the art of connecting people and nature in a way that fosters harmony and resilience. It’s about creating spaces that not only serve a purpose but evoke a sense of belonging, offering a balance between beauty and functionality."

About

With a background shaped by early experiences along the Yangtze River, Sean has long been fascinated by how thoughtfully designed spaces can enrich community life and create lasting harmony between people and nature.

Sean's expertise spans from conceptual design through to project delivery, with a strong focus on integrating sustainability, resilience, and equality into every project. By working across diverse scales, from intimate public parks to large-scale urban spaces, he is dedicated to reshaping cities in ways that foster meaningful human connections.

At TCL, Sean thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment, where their passion for landscape architecture continues to grow. Outside of work, he finds inspiration by exploring new cultures, natural landscapes, and regional architecture, as well as embracing activities that push them out of their comfort zone, ensuring a constant curiosity about the world around them.

TCL acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people — the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We respect their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
