Sydney Metro West – Stations Package West

TCL have been appointed Landscape Architects for the Sydney Metro West Stations Package West

Sydney Metro West Stations Package West is a major component of the new 24 km Sydney Metro West line between Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD. It covers the design and construction of five new underground metro stations at Westmead, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock and The Bays, including their station boxes, entrances and access points, and integration with their surrounding precincts and transport links.

We are developing the public realm components alongside architectural, civil and structural design work to ensure these stations function as fully accessible, modern transport hubs that connect seamlessly with local infrastructure and support surrounding urban development.  Each station has been designed to speak to the character of the neighbourhood, as well as reference deep-time stories and pre-colonial landscape features creating welcoming and functional community transport hubs, with unique identities that respond to place.

Our collaborators include Djinjama, Bates Smart, SAA Architects, COX, John McAslan and Partners, Neeson Murcutt Neille, Stewart Architecture and Aileen Sage Architects.

Sydney Metro awarded the project to the Metro Vista team in early 2026, led by Gamuda as principal contractor, with Laing O’Rourke and DT Infrastructure as delivery partners.
