About

Fran completed her Master of Landscape Architecture in New Zealand, where her thesis explored ways to encounter and engage uncertain and vulnerable urban landscapes within NZ. It draws upon on the creativity of “non solutionist” thinking and design – what is discovered is a relational shift towards engaging and presenting living landscapes beyond the transactional.

Prior joining TCL in 2025, Fran worked as a landscape architect at Local Landscape Architecture Collective, a studio specialised in private residential, streetscape and schools - located in Wellington, New Zealand. During Fran’s time in New Zealand she contributed to the Landscape profession by voluntary as chair for NZILA Wellington Branch as well as tutoring at the University of Wellington.

Fran has a strong passion for public space projects, specializing in large scale streetscape urban realm. Over the years her experience of projects has ranged from private residential to large-scale transport projects, being heavily involved in the documentation process.
