TCL was engaged by Monash University to design and deliver the Eastern Precinct Landscape (EPL) which incorporates four new residential buildings, the new Campus Park and Sports Walk.
A range of facilities are provided within the precinct including residential outdoor spaces, BBQ and picnic areas, seating, shade, native gardens, water treatment areas, access paths, passive recreation zones, sporting multi-courts and outdoor dining for cafe and retail. The design of the EPL reflects the planting character of the campus hosting large areas of Australian native and indigenous vegetation.
Additionally a significant water harvesting system cleans, stores and provides irrigation and gray water for the entire precinct.
