"I have been passionate about our environment from as far back as I can remember but my career in landscape architecture came about much later than most. For many years I was a Turf Manager on some of the world’s best golf courses, was trained in horticulture and the agronomy of turf. That experience served me well and gave me critical insight into how we interact, engage, and operate between the natural and built environments."

About

Greg brings specialist knowledge in digital design methods to TCL, having previously worked in both a design research role at RMIT University and at a multidisciplinary design firm.

Greg is a passionate advocate of emerging digital modelling, visualisation, fabrication and documentation methods and their use in landscape architecture. He is always keen to explore how these technologies might contribute towards the design of spatially diverse, engaging and environmentally sensitive landscapes.

Greg has specialist expertise in adaptive topological modelling, simulations, animation, digital film, rapid prototyping and 3D territorial mapping and photogrammetry.

Greg has experience on a variety of projects types that include streetscape and urban revitalisations, master planning, framework and feasibility studies, sculptural pavilions, play spaces, community consultation and golf course restoration.

Greg’s research interests and background has allowed him to teach and supervise university students at a range of levels within landscape architecture and architecture departments.

TCL acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people — the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We respect their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
