About

A roof garden for a corporate client with an extensive contemporary Australian art collection.

The courtyard has been designed as a viewing garden with a Japanese sensibility, one which partially screens the rooms on either side. The selection of trees, ground plants and other materials is deliberately minimal creating a serene and elegant atmosphere and a sense of spaciousness in a small area. Its simplicity also juxtaposes rather than competes with the lively artworks in the interior spaces.
